Support Pharmacist – Drogheda, Co. Louth


 

 

Pharmaconex is recruiting a full-time Support Pharmacist in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

 

The Pharmacy is part of a young, dynamic Community Pharmacy Group, which has 2 Pharmacies in the Louth and Meath region. The Group has developed into an adaptive, adventurous, and progressive force within the Pharmacy sector while maintaining the tradition of a community Pharmacy.  The Pharmacies have grown on a strong ethos of friendly and reliable customer service along with forward thinking and the ability to embrace change.

 

This role is a permanent full-time and requires 3 days (33 hours) one week and 4 days (40 hours) the second week. Due to double Pharmacist cover, lunch hour is provided. The system used is MPS.

Store opening hours:

  • Mon-Fri 8am-8pm
  • Sat 9am-7pm
  • Sun/BH 10am-6pm

 

Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) is required.

 

The successful candidate will be working alongside a qualified, supportive, and well organised team. There is excellent Pharmacist support, with a Supervising Pharmacist and another support Pharmacist.  There is also excellent technician support with 5 technicians.

 

The salary on offer is very competitive and negotiable based on candidate’s experience.

Qualifications

  • BSc (Pharm)/MPharm
  • Must be a registered member of PSI

 

Requirements

  • Highly professional and friendly Community Pharmacist
  • Dispensing of prescriptions efficiently and accurately
  • Maintaining good Stock Control
  • Adherence to SOP
  • Delivery of high standards of customer service
  • Management of clinical services within the Pharmacy
  • Prescription Management including end of month paperwork
  • Preparation of Blister Packs
  • Maintaining high Pharmacy standards within a clean and efficient workspace
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proactive in the daily running of the Pharmacy
  • Maintaining and developing good relationships with patients, doctors and suppliers
  • CPD compliant
