Support Pharmacist – Mountmellick, Co. Laois

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a well-established independent pharmacy in Mountmellick, Co. Laois.

Key Details

Part-time role, 3 to 4 days per week

Weekdays only — no weekends, no bank holidays, no late nights

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Ideal start date: November 2026

Responsibilities

Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently

Providing excellent patient counselling and OTC advice

Ensuring compliance with PSI guidelines and pharmacy SOPs

Assisting the supervising pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations

Managing stock and liaising with suppliers as required

Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients and the local community

Requirements

BSc (Pharm) / MPharm

Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the PSI
