Support Pharmacist – Tullamore, Co. Offaly

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a well-established pharmacy group in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

The successful candidate will provide cover across two pharmacy locations within the group, offering great variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships across both teams.

Key Details

• Permanent, full-time role with an ideal start date of 31st October

• Monday to Friday, covering both stores

• 1 Saturday per month (2 Saturdays per month every 3 months)

• No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays

• 1 hour 30 minute unpaid lunch break

• Salary: Negotiable DOE

Responsibilities

• Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently across both locations

• Providing excellent patient counselling and OTC advice

• Ensuring compliance with PSI guidelines and pharmacy SOPs

• Assisting the supervising pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations

• Managing stock and liaising with suppliers as required

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients and the local community

Requirements

• BSc (Pharm) / MPharm

• Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the PSI

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to work across two pharmacy locations
