Supervising Pharmacist – Tullamore, Co. Offaly

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Supervising Pharmacist for a well-established pharmacy in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking to step into a supervising role. Candidates who have worked for a number of years as a Support Pharmacist and are ready to take the next step in their career are very welcome to apply.

Key Details

• Permanent, full-time role with an ideal start date of 31st October

• Monday to Friday

• 1 Saturday per month (2 Saturdays per month every 3 months)

• No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays

• 1 hour 30 minute unpaid lunch break

• Salary: Negotiable DOE

Responsibilities

• Supervising the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy in compliance with PSI regulations and Irish pharmacy legislation

• Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently

• Providing excellent patient counselling and OTC advice

• Managing and supporting the dispensary team

• Ensuring all SOPs are followed and kept up to date

• Managing stock and liaising with suppliers

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients and the local community

Requirements

• BSc (Pharm) / MPharm

• Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the PSI

• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in an Irish community pharmacy

• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
