PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a well-established independent pharmacy which is situated in the eastern side of County Offaly. Our client is seeking a candidate who can commence at the earliest opportunity, though they are prepared to wait for the ideal candidate.
This is a permanent role, requiring 5 days per week with an alternate Saturday as part of the rota. No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays are required.
The position demands a motivated pharmacy technician, who thrives on providing outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will work alongside a lovely team (consisting two other technicians and two OTC staff), well-run independent pharmacy with a positive, upbeat, friendly atmosphere.
The system used is: McLernons
The salary is very competitive, and negotiable based on candidate’s experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on their medication;
- Assist in the dispensary;
- Manage dispensary stock;
- Selling products based on good product knowledge;
- Deal with customer medication queries; &,
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- IPU technician course or other recognised courses preferred;
- Previous dispensary experience in Irish retail pharmacy is required – minimum of 12 months;
- Good knowledge of pharmacy products; &,
- Diligent individual.
