pharmacy technician - meath

PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a well-established independent pharmacy which is situated in the southeastern corner of Co. Meath. 

This is a permanent part-time role, requiring 2 days per week with an alternating Saturday pattern necessary as part of the offering. No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays are required.

The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team. The store has a lovely team in place and it is a long-established, well-run independent pharmacy with a positive, upbeat, friendly atmosphere.

The system used is: McLernons

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions in a professional manner;
• Prescription control and paperwork;
• Advise and assist customers with over-the-counter products;
• Engaging actively with customers and provide a high standard in customer service;
• Dispensary stock management including expiry date checking and ordering; &,
• Proactive in personal development and other projects and duties where they arise.

Essential Requirements

• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies;
• Experience working in a high-volume dispensing and customer service environment;
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently with excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing;
• Good knowledge of pharmacy products;
• Can work independently as well as part of a team; &
• ·Diligent.
