support pharmacist - west county clare

Pharmaconex is recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a well-established community pharmacy located in a coastal village in West County Clare.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified pharmacist with some experience who is looking to join a supportive pharmacy team in a community-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring excellent service to patients.

Position Details

• Location: Coastal village in West County Clare
• Working Days: 2–4 days per week (ideally 3 days)
• Preferred Days: Monday - Wednesday
• Saturday: One Saturday per month required
• Start Date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and patient-focused pharmacy services
• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with pharmacy guidelines
• Offer expert advice on medicines and healthcare products
• Support the delivery of vaccination services (training can be provided if required)
• Ensure compliance with all PSI and regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient care

Pharmacy System

• The pharmacy uses the MPS dispensing system

Candidate Requirements

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible to register
• Newly qualified pharmacists with some experience are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy community pharmacy setting
