support pharmacist - north cork city
PharmaConex is currently recruiting a Support Pharmacist for a well-established independent pharmacy which is situated in the Northside of Cork City. Our client is seeking a candidate who can commence in January 2026.
This is a permanent role, requiring 3 to 4 days per week with an alternating Saturday pattern necessary as part of the offering. No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays are required.
The position demands a motivated pharmacist, who thrives on providing outstanding patient care. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team. The store has been operating in Cork for over 40 years and has a lovely team in place, well-run independent pharmacy with a positive, upbeat, friendly atmosphere.
The system used is: MPS
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients, suppliers, and the general community;
- Be team orientated and work well with others;
- Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately;
- Monitoring stock and communicating with suppliers;
- Assist the supervising pharmacist by ensuring SOP's are adhered to and updated; &,
- Other day to day duties.
Requirements
- BSc (Pharm)/MPharm;
- Must be a registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI);
- 1 year or more of Irish Community Pharmacy experience;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good leadership abilities; &,
- Proven people management skills.
