pharmacy technician - south dublin
PharmaConex is currently recruiting a full-time Pharmacy Technician in South Dublin.
This is a permanent role 5 days per week. The ideal candidate should have at least 18 months experience as a pharmacy technician in the Irish community pharmacy sector. The successful candidate would have to work alternating Saturdays as part of the role. No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays are required.
The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team supported by experienced pharmacists. The store has a lovely team in place and it is a long-established, well-run independent pharmacy with a positive, upbeat, friendly atmosphere which is very often commented upon by customers.
The system used is: MPS
Salary: €19-€22 per hour, negotiable DOE
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescriptions in a professional manner;
- Prescription control and paperwork;
- Advise and assist customers with over-the-counter products;
- Engaging actively with customers and provide a high standard in customer service;
- Dispensary stock management including expiry date checking and ordering; &,
- Proactive in personal development and other projects and duties where they arise.
Essential Requirements
- IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies – would be preferable;
- Reliability is critical;
- Experience working in a high-volume dispensing and customer service environment;
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently with excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing;
- Good knowledge of pharmacy products;
- Can work independently as well as part of a team; &
- Diligent.
