pharmacy technician - in portlaoise, co. laois

On behalf of our Client, we are recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a well-established Independent Pharmacy in Portlaoise, Co. Laois

The role is permanent and requires you to work 5 days a week, some Saturdays may be required. No Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights are required.

The system used is MPS.

Store Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday 9- 6

Saturday 9.30 - 6

Sundays and Bank Holiday closed

Salary: €16 - 20 per hour - negotiable DOE

Key Responsibilities

●       Customer-focused - handling queries both on the phone and instore

●       Dispensing Prescriptions

●       Blister packs

●       End-of-month claims

●       Manage dispensary stock

●       Receiving and sending pharmacy orders

●       Calling doctors with queries on patient medication interactions

●       Accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

●       Previous Irish retail pharmacy experience is essential

●       Good knowledge of pharmacy products

●       Can work independently as well as part of a team

●       Diligent
