Where did you work before PharmaConex? : I spent 7 years working in sales in the telecommunications sector but later decided I would like a career change. I started working with a government initiative aimed at getting people back to work, the role gave me my first taste of recruitment, after the programme finished I joined an agency and started working specifically in Pharmacy recruitment. I joined PharmaConex in 2012 and set up the Shannon office to focus on pharmacy recruitment and locum service for the Munster region.
Tell us about your job in PharmaConex: I am the Operations Manager for PharmaConex, my role is to ensure that all areas of the business are managed effectively. My role is primarily to drive the recruitment business but also to ensure the locum service is running smoothly. My role ensures I speak with all our main clients on a daily basis as well as continuously sourcing new candidates.
What do you love most about your role?: PharmaConex has a really driven and motivated team, we work to ensure every team member is supported and what I enjoy most is seeing the team work together and support each other.
What is your favourite thing about working for PharmaConex? PharmaConex has an excellent team, we all work together and enjoy the buzz of filling locum days and sourcing candidates, it is a very positive working environment
